My project was to make sure that when work was done on a outbuilding at my house, materials were sustainabally sourced, and that the waste was recycled or repurposed accordingly. by smurfburt
I wanted to do it, to lower the amount of waste sent to landfill, and to know the number of trees wasnt permentaly decreased due to my actions
Well I checked every material was FSC certified (that means that the trees will be replanted after they have being cut down!) and I also made sure all the waste stone was reused, we reused it by gving it to a friend who is using it to build a wall, thus lowering quarrying amounts!
I feel fantastic knowing that whenever I go to the room that everything new in the building is sutainabaly sourced!
