I wanted to do this because it's good to recycle things and I like to make something useful out of what would have gone in the bin. I like to also invent things that haven't been made before.

I started by planning what I was going to do. I collected all the recycling I needed - I used drink bottles, butter tubs and plastic milk bottles. I invented a plant watering and fertilising system. You put the water bottle inside the butter tub so you can tip it to water plants then you can change the bottle over to a fertiliser bottle.

I feel that I have helped the environment quite a lot because I have reused old packaging and I have invented something that waters and fertilised plants. It was fun to do and I enjoyed it.
